SACRAMENTO, CA: Tea Party Express, the nation’s largest Tea Party political action committee, is pleased to announce its endorsement of John James for U.S. Senate in Michigan.
Tea Party Express Co-Founder and Chief Strategist Sal Russo said, “Michigan is a critical battleground state that could determine control of both the White House and the U.S. Senate. Voters are hungry for commonsense leadership guided by real world experience, not the empty promises and political posturing of career liberals like Gary Peters. Veteran and entrepreneur John James is the experienced leader who can win back this Senate seat and fight for solutions to the challenges Michiganders are facing.
“John James is a West Point graduate who devoted eight years of his life to his country in the U.S. Army, earning a Combat Action Badge and two Air Medals. When his military service ended, he returned to his native Michigan and went to work for his family business, which grew into a major job creator under his leadership. John believes in giving back to the community, and he knows what it takes to turn our economy around and create jobs: lower taxes, fewer costly government regulations, smaller government, and career training for the jobs of tomorrow. His real-world experience is sorely needed in a Senate filled with career politicians beholden to special interests.
